Welcome! I’m Mrs. Englot and I’m blogging with two classes of Grade 8 students. Our junior high is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This year, for the first time, we’re trying out Genius Hour. In our first term we’ll be pursuing passion projects. In terms two and three we’ll be innovating, looking for ways to solve problems. While my students are learning about managing their own learning, I’ll be learning about teaching using blogs and social media. Wish us luck!
